What HHI Is, And What It Isn’t.
Last Updated · April 27, 2026
We take regulatory compliance seriously because the homeowner-first wedge depends on it. This page is the plain-English version of the rules we live by.
We are not a public adjuster
Under Texas Insurance Code § 4102, only a licensed public adjuster can act on behalf of an insured to investigate, settle, or adjust a claim. Home Health Intelligence is not a licensed public adjuster, does not employ public adjusters in this capacity, and does not represent insureds in any negotiation with their carrier.
You decide whether to file a claim. You decide what to share with your carrier. You decide whom to hire. The HHI report is yours, a tool you can use, share, or set aside.
We are not an insurance company or agent
HHI does not sell, broker, or recommend insurance policies. We are not licensed in Texas or anywhere else as an insurance producer. The HealthIntel is a risk indicator, not an underwriting decision, and carriers retain full discretion over coverage and pricing.
The Service Tab is editorial
When we list a roofer, an arborist, a defensible-space contractor, or another service provider, that listing is editorial. It reflects our opinion, sourced from public records, contractor reputation, and our own evaluation. We do not take success fees, kickbacks, referral payments, or revenue share from listed providers.
Pricing tiers reflect the depth of the report itself. Standard covers the full HealthIntel + evidence bundle; Detailed adds the expanded action plan and per-zone narrative. They do not reflect a claim-coordination service, because we do not coordinate claims.
The HealthIntel is informational
The HealthIntel is a composite of public risk data (FEMA National Risk Index) and homeowner-submitted photos assessed against published wildfire-mitigation frameworks (NFPA Firewise USA Home Ignition Zones, IBHS Wildfire Prepared Home). It is informational. It is not an inspection, an appraisal, a structural engineering report, or a guarantee of any outcome with your carrier. For decisions of consequence, retain a licensed professional in the relevant trade.
Carrier-aligned, homeowner-owned
Our canonical evidence bundle follows the NGDS JSON schema that carriers consume, with SHA-256 hashes on every photo. C2PA + PAdES-LTV PDF signing ships in a later phase. That alignment is so the report you produce is taken seriously by your carrier, not so that we have a backchannel.
We do not sell your data to carriers. We do not push your report into carrier systems on your behalf. Sharing is your choice, on your timing.
Questions or concerns
If anything in our marketing, our app copy, or our reports reads as if it crosses one of these lines, we want to hear about it. Email info@homehealthintel.com and we’ll fix it.
